The Zacuto Zwiss Plate is Zacuto’s multi-purpose mounting plate. It allows you to mount articulating arms, rods, batteries, converter boxes and various other camera accessories to your support system. Unlike other cheese plates, the Zwiss Plate has two sets of industry standard 15mm rod holes spaced 60mm apart. This allows vertical mounting onto standard 15mm rods. A second set of rods can be mounted through the top of the plate if you wish to extend your rig at another level. The red levers enable you to securely mount the plate onto your rods. The Zwiss Plate is also designed to work with our new Wireless Plate for mounting multiple wireless receivers.
You can use the Zwiss Plate to mount a variety of accessories or brick style batteries and battery plates. The Zwiss Plate works with both Anton Bauer 3-Stud and V-Mount style batteries. The battery plate and battery mounted on the Zwiss Plate can double as counterbalance. You can still add more counterbalance by adding our Z-Lite weights to the back of the rig along with the Zwiss Plate. Our Zamerican quick release arms mount directly into the 15mm holes of the plate and are perfect for mounting lights, monitors and audio devices. It now comes with the (4) screws needed to mount the AJA Ki Pro Mini. With plenty of ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” holes, your mounting options are limitless.

The Zwiss Cage Plate is an 11" long cheese plate that includes multiple 1/4 20" and 3/8 16" mounting holes as well as (4) 15mm mounting holes on the ends for a variety of uses. It differs from our standard Zwiss Plate in length. This length is needed so it can be used to create a cage like the DSLR Z-Cage and would like to convert to a Zwiss Cage, this is the plate you are looking for. In addition, if you want the handles staggered as we show on the Zwiss cage, you will need to purchase (2) Z-Mount IIs to replace the Z-Mount Zwivels on the existing z- cage. The vertical handles on the Zwiss Cage are staggered as opposed to being parallel like on the DLSR Z-Cage for more stability. The DoubleMount includes 7" rods and can accept two Zround Mounts in the middle holes for mounting a Zacuto Articulating Arm. The Red Plate screws into the bottom of the Doublemount and allows you to mount a V-Mount or 3-Stud Anton Bauer battery plate. Now you can mount your professional brick style batteries to your rig horizontally for counterbalance.
