Zacuto is the first to invent a device that has rods going off the back of a camera. This invention allows us to balance front heavy camera packages while adding mounting options for articulating arms, wireless plates and 12 volt battery power.

The DoubleMount has hardened steel helacoiled sockets which prevent cross threading and will hold up to 4 articulating arms; two 3/8 16" & two 1/4 20" articulating arms all at once. The DoubleMount can also accept two Z-Release (quick-release) Zamerican articulating arms, when you add two Zround Mounts. You can also retrofit your existing arms to be Z-Release (quick-release) by adding either a 3/8 16" ZUD or a 1/4 20” ZUD which mount into our Zround Mounts.

By adding a Zacuto Red Plate which screws into a Zacuto DoubleMount and a battery plate, which screws into a Zacuto Red Plate; you can attach 12 volt batteries that can power all of the camera accessories.

Zround Mount

The Zround Mount is a retrofit to allow Zacuto DoubleMounts and MiniMounts to accept Z-Release Zamerican arm or ZUDS. ZUDs convert your 1/4 20", 3/8 16" screws to 15mm rods, thus allowing them to fit into Z-Mounts, 15mm Z-Locks, ZicroMounts and all other Zacuto 15mm locking devices. This gives quick release action to your Zacuto DoubleMount or MiniMount. The Zround Mount comes with a 3/8 16" and does not include DoubleMount, Zamerican arm or ZUD.

Zamerican, V3 Large

Zamerican, V3 Large 12 inch articulating arm is made with chrome balls for silk movement, aluminum ends for rust reduction and stainless steel to increase strength and reduce bulk. The central red knob controls the central pivot point and the ball joints on either end of the arm.

Zacuto articulating arms end in threaded 15mm female rod ends. This ‘Z-Release’ technology allows you to use any of our Z-Release mounts to quick release between your accessories and the articulating arm. No more screwing and un-screwing and no more coming loose. Our Zacuto quick release red levers (often ratcheting levers) make set up and break down as well as quick moves on set a breeze.

Zicromount III

The ZicroMount III is used to mount any device with a ¼ 20” or a 3/816” inch (with a ¼ 20” to 3/8 16” adapter) screw hole. The Zicromount III is screwed into the bottom of the device such as a monitor and mounted to any 15mm rod, threaded articulating arm with Zacuto ZUDS or Zamerican Arm. The Zicromount III has the ability to attach to the device using two screws. The Zicromount III also has L shaped claws to prevent devices from turning and unwinding.
