Cine Baseplate Kit #Z-CINE

Our Cine kit is ideal for the cinematographer shooting film style on a tripod, dolly or Steadicam. Our Universal Baseplate is in the center of the kit. A follow focus, mattebox, lens support, handles and more can all be attached to the front of the rods. Our Doublemount/Red Plate set up behind the baseplate can hold batteries to power the camera, a monitor, and other accessories. It also provides a counterbalance to offset the weight of the camera and accessories. The Zamerican Articulating Arm can hold a monitor, hard drive, recorder or any 1/4 20” accessory. It uses Zacuto Z-Release technology to quickly release the monitor or hard drive to make setup and location moves quick and easy. Attach your wireless microphone receiver, down-converters or video transmitter to the Wireless Plate and you are ready to shoot!

Zacuto’s baseplate kits are universal and quick-releasable; they can be used with any 15mm lightweight accessories, follow focuses & matte boxes. The kits are designed to be used with current and future models of cameras & camcorders such as the: Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, HVX200a, DVX100a/b, Canon XL-H1, XL2, GL2, XH-A1 Sony XDCAM EX1, EX3, SO-HVR-Z1U, VX2000, PD-150, PD-170, JVC GY-HD100U, JVC GY-HM100U, HD200U, HD250U, Silicon Imaging SI2K, RED ONE, and many more.

The Baseplate comes with standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” tripod connections underneath. If using on a V-wedge style tripod you can add our Zeddie Wedgie.

The camera connections on our Universal Baseplate ‘T-Slide’ are ¼ 20” and a locking pin. You can get different T-Slides for other configurations here.
