Apogee and Zacuto have teamed up to offer the ultimate tool for recording stable and great sounding HD video on the iPhone. Fusing together the Apogee MiC, a USB microphone for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and the Zgrip iPhone Jr, a handgrip for shooting video on iPhone, this kit turns your iPhone into a handheld, HD video rig with incredibly clear and detailed studio quality sound.

This kit includes our Zgrip iPhone Jr. compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3Gsm and iPhone 4, and the Apogee MiC studio quality microphone.

The Zacuto Zgrip iPhone Jr. is a handgrip system for shooting professional stable video using the iPhone. The iPhone snaps into the iPhone cradle which is attached to the handgrip. The handgrip has a ¼ 20” thread on the bottom so you can mount it to a tripod. The ¼ 20” thread on the top enables you to attach the MiC.

Please Note: This rig will not work if using a case with your iPhone.

The handgrip has a ¼ 20” thread on the bottom so you can mount it to a tripod. It also has a ¼ 20” thread on the top for mounting accessories such as a light. The Zgrip iPhone Pro is our completely adjustable, quick releasable handgrip system for shooting professional stable video using the iPhone. The combination of the fully articulating ball joint at the handle and our ratcheting levers on the iPhone mount allow the user to adjust every angle and get those interesting creative smooth shots. The iPhone can be set to landscape or portrait position and everything in between. Compatible with all iPhone 3 and 4 models. The rod attached to the handle is threaded to accept a Zacuto rod extension. Add up to 10” so your iPhone soars over the crowds!

Want to mount a ¼ 20” threaded light or sound recorder? Pick up the Zacuto Zicromount. (Coldshoe version here.)
Want to add a simple tripod mount? We recommend the combination of a ¼ 20” Zud and a 2” M/F rod.
