The Z-Mount Zwivel is similar to our Z-mount but with the ability to change the angle between the two 15mm rods. The Zwivel has one lever which controls the both 15mm holes. In order to change the angle of the rods, just loosen the single lever and the internal spring separates the parts for you to adjust to the desired angle. The Z-mount Zwivel is ideal for connecting a handgrip to a 15mm rod as it allows you to position your hand and wrist to the most comfortable position and extend the grip further way from your body.

The Zrod Lock Mount is a 15mm right angle rod adapter. It slides onto a 15mm rod and tightens with the red lever. A 15mm male/female rod (any length) screws into the female threaded hole and secures with an Allen. This gives you a secure right angle connection that can still slide up and down your rig for individual comfort and accessory placement. The Zrod Lock Mount is the perfect piece if you own the EVF Tri Mount Kit and wish to mount it onto another manufactures rig or our Universal Baseplate. Our Stinger rig is our solution to DSLR shoulder mounted shooting with an EVF or small on-board monitor. The Stinger includes all black rods. This rig uses our height adjustable DSLR Baseplate to mount to any DSLR and tripod. The baseplate attaches to your tripod using the standard tripod plate screws; (2) 1/4 20" and (1) 3/8 16". You can also easily quick release your camera from the rig by turning the red knob on the baseplate and pulling up on your camera. This cool feature allows you to quickly switch between using the camera on its own or as part of your rig.
This system includes our shoulder pad and Z-Lite 7 lb counterbalance weight for a fully balanced in-line rig. The more balanced the rig, the less front heaviness and arm fatigue. You can slide the counterbalance weight forward and backward on the rods for custom comfort. This rig can be used on your left or right shoulder. With the shoulder pad and counterbalance weight coming directly off of the back of the baseplate, the rig is perfectly in-line and ready to be used with one of our EVFs or an on-board monitor for traditional ENG style shooting. You can mount your EVF or monitor to the side of the rig using our EVF Standard Mount Kit or EVF Tri Mount Kit. These kits attach to the side of the DSLR Baseplate included with the Stinger and allow you to have your eye positioned comfortably in front of the EVF or monitor.

The Z-Finder Extender Frames allow you to further adjust the focal point of the Z-Finder by semi-permanently stacking the frames via a snap fit on to the skirt of the Z-Finder until the LCD screen is in focus for you. This is primarily for people who are farsighted or who wear reading glasses. This item includes 4 extender frames; all 4 extender frames will not be needed for everyone. It is best to test how many frames you need by stacking one at a time until the LCD is in focus for you. In order for the Extender Frames to lock properly, a new skirt is needed on the Z-Finder.

The Z-Finder Jr. is one of Zacuto’s Optical Viewfinders that allows DSLR cameras to have the correct form factor for video. It offers 2.5x focusable magnification, a 40mm diameter Zacuto optical designed lens, an eyecup preventing extraneous light leakage, and a field of view perfectly matched to 3” LCD screens. The Z-Finder Jr. does not have a diopter instead it uses Z-Finder Extender Frames to adjust the focal point. The Z-Finder Extender Frames attach to the skirt of the Z-Finder Jr. and allow you to semi-permanently stack the frames until the LCD screen is in focus for you.
The Z-Finder Jr. uses a mounting bracket that must be sandwiched in between a tripod plate and the camera. The bracket mounts to the ¼ 20” screw on your tripod plate and the actual Jr. is held in place with pressure from the fork of the bracket it sits in. You also have the option to mount the Z-Finder Jr. using the Z-Finder Mounting Frame (snap fit adhesive mounting frame) which is also included.

The Gorilla Plate is used in both of our Gorilla Kits (Striker and Target Shooter) and must be used with the Z-Finder Pro.
The Z-Finder V2 will also work with this plate! You must also purchase a frame to mount your V2 onto the Gorilla Plate. The Gorilla plate attaches to your camera using the standard tripod screw hole. You can also mount your tripod plate underneath the Gorilla plate so you can quickly go from handheld to tripod use. For mounting the Gorilla plate to the tripod, it has (2) ¼ 20” screw holes and a locking pin hole. The Z-Finder frame attaches to the Gorilla plate using two thumb screws.
The thumb screws and slider are not included with the Gorilla Plate; they are included with the Z-Finder Frames. The frame can be removed by loosening the thumb screws and pulling up on the frame.

Gorilla Plate Adapter

The Gorilla Plate Adapter centers the tripod holes on the bottom of the gorilla plate. The Gorilla Plate Adapter is used in conjunction with the Zacuto Gorilla Plate. The Gorilla Plate adapter is needed to center the lens and camera between the rods if you are using a Z-Finder Pro with another manufacturer's rod support system supporting follow focuses and matte boxes.
Note: A height adjustable matte box is needed if using a matte box with the Gorilla plate on another manufactures plate system unless their plate system is height adjustable like the Zacuto DSLR Baseplate.
The Gorilla Plate Adapter comes with a longer 1/4 20" screw that will replace the smaller 1/4 20" screw that comes with the Gorilla Plate. You will need to take your screw out and use the longer one provided with the adapter to attach your camera to the plate.
