The EVF Cheese Stick is an accessory for the Zacuto EVF. It attaches to the EVF via two of the four accessory screw holes on the back of the unit. You can mount the Cheese Stick either on the top or bottom of the EVF in 3 different positions. Mounting the Cheese stick with the step facing out enables you to use a Zicro Mini to mount a Zamerican Arm using our z-release technology. This will prevent the Zicro Mini from spinning loose and un-threading - a common issue with standard mounting arms. All of these options give you more flexibility in mounting your EVF. The EVF Cheese Stick has 5 ¼” 20 thread holes aligned in a row which allows you to under sling the EVF in multiple positions giving you more reach for articulating arms. The EVF Gorilla Plate Bracket is used to mount the EVF onto any of the Zacuto Gorilla Kits that use a Gorilla Plate. It can also be used to mount the EVF onto the DSLR Baseplate. The EVF Gorilla Plate Bracket includes a "sling" bracket which mounts to the Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate using the two allen screws that also attach the red thumb screw block to the plates. (If you are familiar with mounting the Z-Finder Frame on the Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate, the sling bracket is mounted the same way). At the end of the sling bracket is a Z-Mount Zwivel which allows you to attach the EVF Pan and Tilt Mount (included). The Z-Mount Zwivel gives you the ability to position the EVF in a few different ways. Attached to the EVF Pan and Tilt Mount is the ZicroMini. The ZicroMini then attaches to the bottom of EVF with its 1/4" 20 screw. This allows you to quickly release your EVF frmo the mount with the flip of a lever.

The EVF Quick Release Mount enables you to quickly move your EVF between the Hotshoe Ball Mount (included with the EVF’s) and any 15mm arm system or rod. Simply attach the ZUD ¼ 20 to the standard ¼ 20 male screw on top of the Hotshoe Ball Mount (or any other ¼ 20 screw mount), attach the Zicro Mini to the bottom of your EVF via the ¼” 20, and slide it onto the ZUD. Turn the lever on the Zicro Mini to secure the EVF and turn again to release. This allows you to quickly move the EVF to use a different shooting technique.

The EVF Standard Mount is used to mount the EVF onto the Zacuto DSLR Baseplate. It includes a 4.5” F/F rod that attaches to 15mm rod hole on the side of the DSLR Baseplate and a Z-Mount Zwivel. The Z-Mount Zwivel is a 15mm to 15mm rod connector that allows you to attach a vertical rod or the included EVF pan and tilt mount to the horizontal rod coming out of the side of the DSLR Baseplate. Attached to the vertical EVF pan and tilt mount is Zacuto’s Zicro Mini. This allows you quickly release the EVF from the EVF Standard Mount with the flip of the lever. EVF Tri Mount Kit

The EVF Tri-Mount Kit gives the option to mount the EVF in 3 different ways. It gives you the option to use the EVF Standard Mount when shooting handheld (off the side of the Zacuto DSLR Baseplate), the Extender Viewfinder Mount when shooting on a tripod or dolly, or in quick release hotshoe mount configuration (see detailed images).
The Tri-Mount includes the EVF Standard Mount as well as a 7” M/F rod and a ZUD ¼” 20. The 7” M/F rod allows you to use the EVF in an extender viewfinder position. To use the extender viewfinder mount, remove the EVF Mount from the Z-Mount Zwivel, then screw the 7” M/F rod into the EVF Mount and then slide the Z-mount Zwivel wherever you like so that you can position your EVF to your desired position.
The included ZUD ¼” 20 allows you to free the camera and EVF from your rig and mount it quickly to the hot shoe mount of your camera. In order to use the quick release hot shoe mount effectively, the hot shoe mount included with the EVF should be mounted on your camera’s hot shoe adapter. Then screw the ZUD ¼” 20 into the hot shoe mount and leave that on your camera’s hot shoe adapter. You can then quickly release or attach the EVF from either the Standard Mount or Extender Viewfinder mount with a flip of the lever. This is essential for releasing your camera as well as your EVF from your rig in a matter of seconds.

The FS100 Filmmaker Kit is specifically designed for the Sony FS100, however it can be used with other video cameras similar to the FS100. The base of this kit is our trusty Universal Baseplate and Z-spacer. The Z-spacer raises the camera to get the lens at the correct height for use with a matte box. The Z-spacer is not necessary with other cameras like the Sony F3 and AF100, and isn’t needed if you are not using a matte box with your FS100.
The FS100 Filmmaker kit is a in-line shoulder mounted kit that will allow you to use the Zacuto EVF (not included) off the side with our EVF Rod Mount, like a traditional camera package. The Pincher is a universal HDMI cable restraint for DSLR's. It is the perfect solution for keeping your HDMI cable in place. It includes the pincher device and a mounting bar that will allow you to use it out of the box on the Zacuto Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate. The mounting bar attaches to the Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate by using the two allen screws that also attach the red thumb screw slider block to the baseplates (if you are familiar with mounting the Z-Finder Frame on the Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate, the mounting bar is attached the same way).
The Pincher has horizonal adjustment as well as vertical adjustment so you can line the Pincher up to work on multiple DSLR cameras. To adjust horizontally or vertically, loosen the red thumb screws positioned at the bottom and/or side of the Pincher and slide; once positioned, tighten the red thumb screws.
The Pincher has many configurations to work with multiple cameras. It has been tested on the following cameras: Canon T2i, Canon 60D, Canon 5D, Canon 7D, Canon 1D, Lumix GH2, Nikon D3100, Nikon D7000 and Nikon D3s. It also works when using battery grips with the Canon 5D,7D and T2i. The Pincher will need to be configured differently depending on your camera. Please refer to the instruction sheet found Here

This will lessen the likelihood of having sun damage on your EVF or camera LCD screen. This does not protect 100% so users must still use the lens cap when working outside every time the Z-Finder is not in use. The Z-Finder 16x9 Sun Mask is included with all EVF units as well as every Z-Finder.
To install, simply take off your eyecup and anti-fog shield. Place anti-fog shield on the lens and then place the 16x9 sun mask on top of the ant-fog shield. Make sure the sun mask is centered. Re-install your eyecup and you are ready to shoot.

Your Zacuto DSLR Base Plate is a highly configurable base plate which is adjustable to accommodate tall and short body cameras and cameras with battery grips. It also has mounting points to attach just about anything. It comes with 2 black 3.5" rods.
The DSLR Base Plate can accommodate 15mm rods on all 4 sides. On the front are 2 levels for rods. The top is for mounting follow focuses, matte boxes, zoom/focus motors and lens support if space allows. The bottom rods are primarily used for lens support and single or double hand grips. These rods can be locked via allen screw so as to not come loose if using only one side for a single hand grip. The rear rod holes are for rod extensions to support battery power, wireless plates, monitors and numerous other accessories that you may need when in a tripod configuration. The rod holes on the left and right sides are for mounting the gunstock and the offset shoulder pad and counterweight for hand held use. Also mounted on these side rods can be a top handle, monitor arms and the cage which would use both sides at the same time.
On the bottom of the DSLR Base plate are your standard ¼ 20 and 3/8 16 mounting holes for tripods, mono pods, steadicams, etc. The top plate is a quick release plate that with a twist of the red knob lifts straight up and off separating your DSLR with the Z-finder attached, from the rest of your rig. The red knob also gives you left/right movement to adjust the lens position.
On the front of the base plate between the rods are 2 allen screws that are used to adjust the top plate vertically. The vertical adjustment is to adjust for different camera body sizes and maintain the proper lens height.
