Our Cine kit is ideal for the cinematographer shooting film style on a tripod, dolly or Steadicam. Our Universal Baseplate is in the center of the kit. A follow focus, mattebox, lens support, handles and more can all be attached to the front of the rods. Our Doublemount/Red Plate set up behind the baseplate can hold batteries to power the camera, a monitor, and other accessories. It also provides a counterbalance to offset the weight of the camera and accessories. The Zamerican Articulating Arm can hold a monitor, hard drive, recorder or any 1/4 20” accessory. It uses Zacuto Z-Release technology to quickly release the monitor or hard drive to make setup and location moves quick and easy. Attach your wireless microphone receiver, down-converters or video transmitter to the Wireless Plate and you are ready to shoot!

Our Newsman Kit allows you to shoulder mount your camera for quick, rugged ENG shooting. The rig can be easily balanced with a few quick adjustments and gives smaller 1/3” or ½” cameras the stability of a larger shoulder-mounted camera, which will produce smoother shots. The Zoffset shifts the shoulder pad vertically and horizontally allowing the shooter to comfortably align his eye in the viewfinder on camera models where they are center mounted.

The Indie Kit V2 is a shoulder mounted rig designed for the indie filmmaker. It uses our Universal Baseplate to mount to any camera, including the Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, Sony FS100, RED ONE, HVX200 and other cameras of this size. You can mount a matte box, follow focus, on-board monitor and pro batteries off of the Universal Baseplate. The Indie kit comes with a shoulder pad as well as our Zoffset piece which offsets the rig so you can get your eye in the camera’s viewfinder. The Zgrips Beefy included with the kit are infinitely adjustable with un-parallel strength. Designed for camera packages between 22-40 lbs, each grip can be moved up, down, left, right, as well as fully articulate at the wrist. You can also set the grip length and position to where you feel most comfortable for a stable and balanced rig. The Zwiss Plate cheese plate on the back of the rig allows you to mount virtually anything with the provided 1/4 20" and 3/8 16" holes, including batteries and the AJA Ki Pro Mini. The FS100 Filmmaker Kit is specifically designed for the Sony FS100, however it can be used with other video cameras similar to the FS100. The base of this kit is our trusty Mini Baseplate and Z-spacer. The Z-spacer raises the camera to get the lens at the correct height for use with a matte box. The Z-spacer is not necessary with other cameras like the Sony F3 and AF100.
The FS100 Filmmaker kit is a in-line shoulder mounted kit that will allow you to use the Zacuto EVF (not included) off the side with our EVF Rod Mount, like a traditional camera package. It includes our Shoulder Pad, Zgrips V3 and Zwiss plate for mounting professional batteries and the AJA Ki Pro mini. The Zwiss plate with professional batteries will also act as a counter balance weight when shooting handheld.
This kit also includes our Z-Focus follow focus and a set of lens gears to allow you to pull accurate focus.

The FS100 Shooter is a compact, steady rig for FS100 users. The kits starts with our Mini Baseplate (standard 3/8 16 and ¼ 20 tripod mount underneath) with 12" rods. The rods can slide back and forth to accommodate different lenses and accessories by flipping the red levers at the side of the plate. Our comfy shoulder pad also slides on the rods for comfort and ease of use. A 3.5lb weight sits behind the shoulder pad for counterbalance.
Attached to the front of our rods is our FS100 Grip Relocator. The Zacuto FS100 Grip Relocator attaches to the 15mm rod with Zacuto Zwivel technology. The handle can be swiveled up and forward or straight down for individual comfort. The FS700 handle screws into the Relocator with a single ¼ 20 screw and a locator pin. Moving camera controls to the handle means the kit can be shorter and the camera can be a little further back on your shoulder which helps with stabilization and weight distribution. With the FS100 Grip Relocator, users can comfortably control start/stop of the camera while working shoulder mounted. The Sony grip comes with a 12” cable. We recommend adding this LANC extension cable for more flexibility.

This Target Shooter kit is our most basic rig designed for the following cameras: Canon C100/300/500, RED Scarlet and Epic, and the Sony FS100 and FS700. It is designed for lightweight run’n’gun shooting stabilization. The Target Shooter features our Gorilla Baseplate which attaches to your camera using 3/8” 16 and ¼” 20 screws. The Gorilla Baseplate also features a set of 15mm lightweight threaded holes in the front of the baseplate for use with Zacuto rods. This gives the added benefit of allowing users to mount a follow focus, lens support or other accessories in front of the camera. The rod to lens height is not standard and requires a height adjustable matte box*.
The Gorilla Baseplate has a 15mm hole in the bottom in order to attach the main vertical rod for the Target Shooter Gunstock. The rig can be freed from the Gorilla Baseplate by flipping the red lever on the side of the plate. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate for quickly moving from handheld to tripod. The Target Shooter features the Zacuto Gunstock. To use, simply brace the Gunstock against your shoulder to stabilize your shot. This kit has minimal set up time and is very light and simple. This rig works best when using the eyepiece on your camera.
