With the introduction of the Letus35 2/3” B4 Compact Relay lens now all of the components are in place for an affordable depth of field (DOF) shooting system on a 2/3” camera. Now 2/3” cameras, primarily relegated to news, broadcast and corporate work, can now be used in the indie film spectrum.

This is a compact version of Letus35 Relay Lens Module for B4 mount cameras. The adapter is 50mm in length from flange and 1/4 stop brighter than the P+S PRO35 relay. This relay lens will allow you to attach a Letus35 Elite, or Ultimate adapter directly to the camera body bypassing the stock lens entirely. Precision calibrated to the Letus35 adapters. We cannot guarantee compatibility with other adapters.

Our 2/3" B4 Mount DOF Cine kit is designed for use on a tripod, dolly or Steadicam with a DOF (depth of field) 35mm lens adapter such as the Letus35, Brevis, MovieTube, P+S Tecnik, and/or RedRock Micro. The DOF Relay Lens adapter allows you to use Nikon, Canon or Zeiss still lenses and achieve the same shallow DOF as 35mm motion picture film on your B4 mount camera body such as the Panasonic HPX500,HPX 3000, AJ-HDC27H VariCam, Sony HDW- F900, PDW F350, and many more.

The combination of our height adjustable LWS plate and Z-Riser allows you to mount any matte box and follow focus. Letus35 Elite with back focus adjustment

The Letus35 Corporation has made a new DOF adapter: The Letus Elite. With the added back focus adjustment, you can quickly and accurately adjust the distance between the rear element of the prime lens and the ground glass (film plane). This results in accurate focus marks on the lens and sharp focus with the lens set to infinity. This is a great improvement over the Letus35 Extreme design and will allow users to fix back focus issues in the field quickly and accurately.

The Letus35 Elite also incorporates a film plane line and peg on the outside of the adapter. This makes it possible to use a tape measure as an accurate tool for finding focus and also to calibrate the distance markings on the lens correctly.
