FS700 Shooter #Z-FS700

The FS700 Shooter is a compact, stable rig for FS700 users. The kits starts with our Mini Baseplate (standard 3/8 16 and ¼ 20 tripod mount underneath) with 12" rods. The rods can slide back and forth to accommodate different lenses and accessories by flipping the red levers at the side of the plate. Our comfy shoulder pad also slides on the rods for comfort and ease of use. A 7lb weight sits behind the shoulder pad for counterbalance.

Attached to the front of our rods is our FS700 Grip Relocator. The Zacuto FS700 Grip Relocator attaches to the 15mm rod with Zacuto Zwivel technology. The handle can be swiveled up and forward or straight down for individual comfort. The FS700 handle screws into the Relocator with a ¼ 20 screw and is secured in place with a standard Arri rosette. Moving camera controls to the handle means the kit can be shorter and the camera can be a little further back on your shoulder which helps with stabilization and weight distribution. The Sony removable grip features four easy-to-use buttons including Start/Stop, Photo, 4x/8x expandable focus, and push-button auto iris. The Sony grip comes with a 12” cable. We recommend adding this LANC extension cable for more flexibility.

FS100 Filmmaker Kit

The FS100 Filmmaker Kit is specifically designed for the Sony FS100, however it can be used with other video cameras similar to the FS100. The base of this kit is our trusty Mini Baseplate and Z-spacer. The Z-spacer raises the camera to get the lens at the correct height for use with a matte box. The Z-spacer is not necessary with other cameras like the Sony F3 and AF100.

The FS100 Filmmaker kit is a in-line shoulder mounted kit that will allow you to use the Zacuto EVF (not included) off the side with our EVF Rod Mount, like a traditional camera package. It includes our Shoulder Pad, Zgrips V3 and Zwiss plate for mounting professional batteries and the AJA Ki Pro mini. The Zwiss plate with professional batteries will also act as a counter balance weight when shooting handheld.

This kit also includes our Z-Focus follow focus and a set of lens gears to allow you to pull accurate focus.

This is the perfect all in one kit for FS100 owners. No worries if you have another camera, you can still use this kit, just take off the Z-Spacer and you are good to go.

FS700 Grip Relocator

The Zacuto FS700 Grip Relocator gives users the freedom to place the Sony FS700 removable grip onto any 15mm rod. You can place the FS700 Relocator at a handgrip for shoulder mounted work or anywhere on a rig that is most comfortable for you and your set up. It uses Zacuto’s Zwivel technology so it can be swiveled up and forward or straight down for optimal comfort and rig compatibility. Z-Focus with ZipGear Prime Lens Kit

The Z-Focus is an extremely accurate follow focus that allows the operator or assistant to pull focus. This kit includes the Z-Focus and a set of (4) ZipGear Universals and is for 15mm lightweight rods. The follow focus mechanism utilizes a set of gears that connect to and spin the focus ring (.8/32 geared lenses) or the ZipGear (4 included) on the camera lens for lenses that are not geared. The 3D white marking disk allows the focus puller or operator to create distance marks for repeatable focus pulls.

Z-Finder EVF Pro

The Zacuto Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) is a 3.2” high resolution monitor to be used in conjunction with any Z-Finder model. The EVF is compatible with all cameras that have an HDMI output, including most DSLRs, the Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, RED ONE, RED Scarlet and RED Epic. The EVF is compatible with the Blackmagic Camera (or other camera with no HDMI output) with use of the Blackmagic HD-SDI to HDMI mini converter. The EVF allows you to operate with your camera "in-line" with your rod system and an offset viewfinder in front of your eye. We believe, this traditional film camera and ENG camera style of shooting is the most stable and comfortable. Now we can work this way with any camera! The EVF enhances the stability of any set up, gives you better resolution and focus ability, allows you to get your eye where it most comfortably needs to be, enables low mode shooting, and shortens a shoulder mounted camera package. With an external viewfinder, you’re no longer trapped behind the back of your camera. You can have your camera on a dolly or crane or in a car or anywhere and have the EVF in your hand.

The Z-Finder EVF Pro is a complete EVF with diopter. It includes the EVF Flip model and an optical viewfinder which can snap onto the frame of the monitor and also flip up 180 degrees. The optical viewfinder contains high quality 2.5x optics with anti-fog shields and a diopter. It also includes three extender frames. The Z-Finder Extender Frames allow you to further adjust the focal point of the Z-Finder by semi-permanently stacking the frames via a snap fit onto the skirt of the Z-Finder until the LCD screen is in focus for you. You can then dial in closer with the diopter wheel.

EVF Rod Mount

The EVF Rod Mount attaches your Zacuto EVF to any 15mm rod. This is perfect if you want to connect your EVF Mount to another manufacturer’s rig or to a Zacuto Universal Baseplate when using a video camera such as the AF-100, Sony F3, or FS100. The combination of our Z-mount Zwivel 360 degree connector at the corner and our tilt and pan mount at the top give you unlimited options for placing your EVF. The Zicro Mini allows you to quickly release your EVF from the EVF Rod mount with a flip of the lever. The horizontal and vertical rod ends are threaded female so rod extensions can be used for both distance and height. This truly is a versatile mount enabling the user to place their EVF exactly where it needs to be.
