The EVF Top Mount is a fully adjustable, rock solid way to mount your EVF from the top of your camera. It is compatible with Epic/Scarlet, Sony F3 and FS700, and Panasonic AF100. (Note: For use with the Sony FS700 the shoe mount on the front of the camera handle needs to be moved to the back of the handle. To do this you will need a small Phillips screwdriver.) It is ideal for mounting an EVF off of the top handle of a F3 or AF100 where rod space under the lens is limited. It also allows the EVF to stay upright by attaching our EVF Cheese Rod to the side so it does not have to be upside down. Important for all you EVF Flip owners!

The EVF attaches to the top of the camera via the two ¼ 20 screws in our 3" Z-Rail. All the rods are threaded for adjustability and are finished with a Rod Cap to prevent accidental slipping. The mounts can be adjusted for individual set ups in both length and angle. The Cheese Rod attaches to the back of the EVF via two long screws (included). These included screws are swapped with the current screws in the EVF. The EVF Top mount is compatible with any camera that has two ¼ 20 screw holes on the top or on the handle. For the RED Epic and Scarlet, that do not come with handles, the QR Handle can be attached to the Top Mount’s built in Z-Rail. .

Z-Finder EVF Pro

The Zacuto Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) is a 3.2” high resolution monitor to be used in conjunction with any Z-Finder model. The EVF is compatible with all cameras that have an HDMI output, including most DSLRs, the Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, RED ONE, RED Scarlet and RED Epic. The EVF is compatible with the Blackmagic Camera (or other camera with no HDMI output) with use of the Blackmagic HD-SDI to HDMI mini converter. The EVF allows you to operate with your camera "in-line" with your rod system and an offset viewfinder in front of your eye. We believe, this traditional film camera and ENG camera style of shooting is the most stable and comfortable. Now we can work this way with any camera! The EVF enhances the stability of any set up, gives you better resolution and focus ability, allows you to get your eye where it most comfortably needs to be, enables low mode shooting, and shortens a shoulder mounted camera package. With an external viewfinder, you’re no longer trapped behind the back of your camera. You can have your camera on a dolly or crane or in a car or anywhere and have the EVF in your hand.

The Z-Finder EVF Pro is a complete EVF with diopter. It includes the EVF Flip model and an optical viewfinder which can snap onto the frame of the monitor and also flip up 180 degrees. The optical viewfinder contains high quality 2.5x optics with anti-fog shields and a diopter. It also includes three extender frames. The Z-Finder Extender Frames allow you to further adjust the focal point of the Z-Finder by semi-permanently stacking the frames via a snap fit onto the skirt of the Z-Finder until the LCD screen is in focus for you. You can then dial in closer with the diopter wheel.

EVF Cheese Rod

The EVF Cheese Rod is a cheesestick and 15mm rod combination used to mount our EVF from the top of a camera like the Sony F3, Panasonic AF100 and Epic/Scarlet. The EVF Cheese Rod is attached to the back of the EVF. The EVF Cheeserod is ideally mounted off of a perpendicular rod like in the EVF Top Mount. (see detailed pictures).

QR Handle

The QR Handle is a multi purpose top handle that can be used on the Scarlet, Epic cameras and other accessories such as the Zacuto Zwiss Cage. The handle is ideal for low-mode shooting and easy transport of your camera. The base of the handle attaches via (2) ¼” 20 screws (included) that are spaced 3/8" screw center to center at their closest to 2" 5/32" at their furthest. The Top Handle mounts to the base via Zacuto’s quick release Z-Rail system, allowing you to leave the base on the camera and remove the handle with the flip of a lever. The handle can be slid left or right on the Z-Rail to balance the camera’s center of gravity. Zacuto dovetail accessories are adjustable to work with Z-Rail, NATO, SWAT, RED, PICATINNY, and WOODEN CAMERA rails.

The handle and rods assembly is 7” long. Both ends of the handle are female threaded for extensions.

You can also mount other accessories to this handle by using our T-Mount (single hole) or Tri-Mount (dual hole). The T-Mount has (1) 15mm port that is secured with an Allen screw and (1) 15mm quick release hole. The port attaches to the Top Handle rod, giving you a 15mm hole to mount anything from your mic, EVF, light, recorder, etc. The dual hole Tri-Mount also has (1) 15mm port but includes (2) 15mm holes so you can mount two accessories at the same time.
