Zamerican, V3 Large 12 inch articulating arm is 20% lighter than our first articulating arm. It is made with chrome balls for silk movement, aluminum ends for rust reduction and stainless steel to increase strength and reduce bulk.
It is built with Z-Release, giving you built-in quick release action using Zacuto's new Z-lock technology. Accessories install and remove with the flip of a lever. No more screwing and un-screwing and no more coming loose. Zamerican arms can be extended using Zacuto male rod extensions making articulating arms any length you want them to be. Zamerican arms require a Z-Release (quick-release) mount on each end of the arm. Z-Release mounts include:

Zicromount III
The ZicroMount III is used to mount any device with a ¼ 20” or a 3/816” inch (with a ¼ 20” to 3/8 16” adapter) screw hole. The Zicromount III is screwed into the bottom of the device such as a monitor and mounted to any 15mm rod, threaded articulating arm with

Zano
The Zano is a combination of the Manfrotto Nano Clamp and the Zacuto Zicromount. The Zano allows you to attach 15mm rods or Zamerican arms to mount monitors, lights, hard drives and so on, to anything you can clamp the Zano onto such as tripod legs. The Zano clamp range is .51" to 1.38".

Zaffer
Many people have been asking for it and now it's here. The Zaffer is a combination of the Avenger Super Clamp and the Zacuto Zicromount. The Zaffer allows you to attach 15mm rods or Zamerican arms to mount monitors, lights, hard drives and so on, to anything you can clamp the Zaffer on to, such as tripod legs. The Zaffer clamp range is .51" to 2.1".

Zwiss Plate
The Zacuto Zwiss Plate is Zacuto’s multi-purpose mounting plate. It allows you to mount articulating arms, rods, batteries, converter boxes and various other camera accessories to your support system. Unlike other cheese plates, the Zwiss Plate has two sets of industry standard 15mm rod holes spaced 60mm apart. This allows vertical mounting onto standard 15mm rods. A second set of rods can be mounted through the top of the plate if you wish to extend your rig at another level. The red levers enable you to securely mount the plate onto your rods. The Zwiss Plate is also designed to work with our new Wireless Plate for mounting multiple wireless receivers.
You can use the Zwiss Plate to mount a variety of accessories or brick style batteries and battery plates. The Zwiss Plate works with both Anton Bauer 3-Stud and V-Mount style batteries. The battery plate and battery mounted on the Zwiss Plate can double as counterbalance. You can still add more counterbalance by adding our Z-Lite weights to the back of the rig along with the Zwiss Plate. Our Zamerican quick release arms mount directly into the 15mm holes of the plate and are perfect for mounting lights, monitors and audio devices. It now comes with the (4) screws needed to mount the AJA Ki Pro Mini. With plenty of ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” holes, your mounting options are limitless.

Zicro Mini
The Zicro Mini is similar to our Zicromount & Zicromount III, except it is much thinner. The Zicro Mini was made specifically for the Zacuto EVF. It is included in the EVF Standard Mount, EVF Rod Mount and EVF Tri-Mount Kit. The Zicro Mini is a universal quick release mount that allows you to attach anything with a ¼” 20 screw hole to a 15mm rod. This includes Zacuto’s articulating arm series, the Zamerican Arms. The Zicro Mini is only recommended for smaller lightweight devices such as an EVF, LED light or small sound recorder like the Zoom H4N. It is not recommended for larger (6”+) monitors. For larger monitors, we recommend the Zicromount III.
