Blackmagic Ultra Lite #Z-BMUL

The Blackmagic Ultra Lite does a lot with a little! It is a combination of our Blackmagic Top Handle with a pair of rods running above the camera. It mounts with a 5” Z-rail that attaches to the top of your camera via two ¼ 20 screws. The Blackmagic Top Handle and each of the 7” male/female threaded rods attach independently across the 5” rail with a Zacuto quick release ratcheting lever. The rods and the handles can freely slide side to side on the Z-rail for balance and can be set facing backwards or forwards. You can set the 7” rods lightweight spaced (60mm) over the camera lens to hold a follow focus or matte box. You can also attach accessories to each rail and to the rod running through the handle using a Zacuto Z-release mount. This kit has endless possibilities!

Zacuto dovetail accessories are adjustable to work with Z-Rail, NATO, SWAT, RED, PICATINNY, and WOODEN CAMERA rails.

Blackmagic Ultra Lite

Z-Focus with ZipGear Prime Lens Kit

The Z-Focus is an extremely accurate follow focus that allows the operator or assistant to pull focus. This kit includes the Z-Focus and a set of (4) ZipGear Universals and is for 15mm lightweight rods. The follow focus mechanism utilizes a set of gears that connect to and spin the focus ring (.8/32 geared lenses) or the ZipGear (4 included) on the camera lens for lenses that are not geared. The 3D white marking disk allows the focus puller or operator to create distance marks for repeatable focus pulls.

T-Mount

The T-Mount is a t-shaped 15mm perpendicular rod mount. It includes (1) 15mm rod port that is secured by an Allen screw and (1) 15mm quick release hole which sits perpendicular to the port. You can attach any 15mm rod accessory to this, such as one of our articulating arms or a Zud. It is most commonly used to attach an FS100 microphone to our FS100 Top Handle. The rod port attaches to the Top Handle rod and allows you to slide your microphone mount into the 15mm hole. It can also be mounted onto any 15mm rod end.

Tri-Mount

The Tri-Mount expands upon our standard T-Mount by adding on a third 15mm hole. The Tri-Mount is a t-shaped 15mm rod mount. It includes (1) 15mm rod port that is secured by an Allen screw and (2) 15mm quick release holes which sit perpendicular to the port. The mount is ideal for use with our FS100 Top Handle. It gives you two extra mounting holes on the handle, allowing you to mount your FS100 microphone and an additional accessory such as our EVF, a light, arm, recorder, etc.
